Ann (Casavant) Graham

Ann Graham of Newburyport, MA passed away peacefully on August 19, 2023. She was born on August 7, 1935 in Lynn, MA, to Joseph and Isabelle Casavant, and graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in Newburyport.  She married the love of her life, William Graham, and they went on to have a beautiful 67-year marriage. Before settling down on Hope Ave. in Newburyport, where they would raise their two sons, William II and Jonathan, she traveled the country with her husband, working as a civilian for the US Air Force, and later earning her master’s degree from Merrimack College. She spent the remainder of her career as an adjunct professor of accounting at New Hampshire College, the chief financial officer for W. Graham Associates Inc.  

When she wasn’t adding to her impressive resume, she was boating with her longtime friends, spending winters playing bocce ball in Naples, FL, or spending time with her six grandchildren, bringing them to Disney, sitting by the pool, and giving them enough memories to last a lifetime.

She was predeceased by her husband William, her parents, Joseph and Isabelle Casavant, her siblings Francis Casavant, Isabelle Clothey, David Casavant, and Patricia Casavant. She is survived by her sister Monica Hovan, her children, William II and his wife Charlene, Jonathan and his wife Lisa, her six loving grandchildren, Mary, Christin, Felicia, Matthew, Michaela and Elizabeth, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Friday August 25, 2023 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Her Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church will follow the calling hours at 11:30 AM, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
