Alan Jones – Salisbury, MA

Alan Jones passed away on February 17th, 2024. He was born on May 29, 1939 in Lawrence, MA to late, Edward and Gertrude (Cullen) Jones. Alan graduated from Newburyport High School in 1957.  Alan worked for many years at Owens-Illinois in Newburyport, MA until they closed and he retired.

Alan leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Sheila (Dow), his three daughters, Caroline Jones, Gertrude and her husband Robert Rockwood, and Alana and her husband Robert Falzano, his 5 grandchildren, Kelson & Evan Jones, Robert Rockwood Jr. and Roland & Wednesday Falzano. He is also survived by his two sisters, Ruth Harris & Dorothy and her husband Howard Klein. He was predeceased by his brothers, Kenneth & Edward Jones and his son, Christopher Jones.

Calling hours are Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 9 – 11 AM at Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home, 193 High Street, Newburyport, MA 01905.  A Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at the funeral home at 11 AM.  Burial will follow the service in Wildwood Cemetery in Seabrook, NH.
