Aimee M. (Pike) Aruda

Aimee M. Aruda, 50, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, MA, surrounded by her family. Aimee was born in Norwood, MA on January 30, 1972 to Timothy Pike, Sr and the late Dorothy (Sullivan) Pike. She was raised in Newburyport and was a graduate of Newburyport High School, Class of 1990. Aimee continued her education achieving her Bachelors Degree from the University of New Hampshire before attending Dartmouth College for graduate work in the biological sciences.

Aimee was employed by Snow Companies in Virginia as a patient advocate, helping patients take a more active role in their own healthcare through learning and connecting with others as well as involvement in new product development.

Aimee enjoyed dancing and kayaking and spending time at the beach, but nothing gave her more pleasure than spending time with family and friends. 

Aimee is survived by her husband, Scott and son Aidan of Beverly, MA, father, Timothy Pike, Sr of Mount Vernon, Maine; twin sister, Alison Pike of Newbury, MA and brother, Timothy Pike, Jr. of Vincennes, Indiana; mother in law; Emerald (Nanny) Aruda of Somerville, MA; brothers and sisters-in-law; Ronald Aruda of Somerville, MA; Wayne and Rosemary Aruda of Tewksbury, MA; Debbie Aruda and Michael Koen of Malden, MA; Mark Aruda of Tampa, FL; Lori and Richard Brockway of Framingham, MA; Kathleen and Mark Antonellis of Needham, MA, John Aruda of Beverly, MA  and her nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to Aimee’s funeral service at 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home at 193 High Street, Newburyport, MA 01950. Calling hours will follow the service in the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
