Adrienne T. (Dumont) Mosher

Adrienne T. Mosher, 93, died at her home in Newburyport on October 31, 2020. She was born in Haverhill, MA on December 16, 1926 to the late Edward and Alvina (Perrin) Dumont. Raised and educated in Haverhill she was a graduate of Haverhill High School. Following her graduation Adrienne was employed as a hairdresser before her marriage to the late John J. Mosher. She then became a stay-at-home mom, raising their family in Haverhill for a short time before settling in Newburyport in 1963. When her children were older Adrienne went back to work. She was employed at Ferlita’s and then at Angie’s, both in Newburyport.

In her spare time Adrienne enjoyed tending to her vegetable and flower gardens, but nothing gave her more joy than cooking for friends and family and being together around the table.

Adrienne is survived by her children, Michael Mosher of Newburyport and Kathleen Mosher of Atkinson, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Mosher, and her siblings, Paul, Normand, and Lucille Dumont, and Pauline Cranton.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church on July 22, 2021 at 10:30 AM, and her burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Newburyport. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home, 193 High Street, Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mrs. Mosher’s family with her funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Adrienne’s name to the Immaculate Conception Parish, 42 Green Street, Newburyport, MA 01950-2647.
