Former Owner of the Park Lunch
Stanley Rosyna, 97, a lifelong resident of Newburyport died Monday April 24, 2017 at Avita Assisted Living in Newburyport. He was born to the late Joseph and Stella (Karol) Rosina on January 20, 1920. He was a graduate of Newburyport High school followed by his enlistment in the U.S. Army. Upon his return from service Stanley married Renee Jeuvelis and the couple raised their family in Newburyport.
Stanley was employed for several years at Towle Silversmith in Newburyport before purchasing and operating the Park Lunch for 25 years. He was also employed by the Newburyport Water Department as the Lead Pump Station Operator until his retirement.
He was a member of the St. Marks Masonic Lodge in Newburyport. Stanley enjoyed hunting, fishing, and routing on all of the professional New England Sports teams. He also travelled throughout Europe and the Caribbean with his wife Renee. They especially loved Aruba where they visited twice a year for over 20 years.
Stanley is survived by his beloved wife Renee (Jeuvelis) Rosyna of Newburyport, daughter Melinda March and her husband Ronald of Newburyport, grandchildren Anthony and Jarrod March and Tracy Leigh Desmond. He was predeceased by his daughter Melissa Barton.
Family and friends may call on Thursday April 27, 2017 form 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport 01950. Parking available behind the Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday in the Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Newburyport.
