Hi Dollie and Family, I'm so sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. My condolences for your loss.
I know you know, but still, I want to tell you much my mother valued her friendship with your mother. Over the years they experienced so much together, worked together, aged together, looked after each other, prayed for each other, met illness with determination and support, together. And Dollie, my mother also had great appreciation and admiration for the efforts of you, your husband and your family in your mothers life. We talked together of these things. And both our mothers, in their declining years, as in their younger years, left us with rich experience and lessons as we all move forward.
I'm sorry I cannot be present as part of the arrangements, I'm overseas, but my thoughts are with you all.
