Robert F. Doyle

Robert F. Doyle, 87, of Newburyport, Massachusetts, passed away on January 14th at Country Center for Health and Rehabilitation, where he spent his last three years.  Robert was born in Newburyport on June 12, 1931 to the late Edward and Mary (Condon) Doyle.  He was a lifelong resident of Newburyport, graduating from Newburyport High School in 1949 before attending Northeastern University and Boston University.  Robert worked at Royal Insurance in Boston until his retirement in 1995.

Robert was married to his loving wife Marie (Arsenault) Doyle on May 5th, 1962.  They spent a lifetime together until she passed away on April 8, 1996.  He is survived by his three children; Perseus LePage and his fiancé Draco, of Danvers, Massachusetts, Daniel Doyle and his wife Julie of Newburyport, and Bob Doyle and his wife Elizabeth, also of Newburyport.  Robert also deeply loved his four grandchildren, Joshua, Jack, Sadie, and Jennifer.

Robert will be remembered most by the selfless dedication he showed to his wife and children.  He never once failed to place the wants and needs of his family over his own, forever doing all he could to provide them with the love, security and happiness he wished them to have.  Although he was a reserved man, he showed those he cared about the undying love he had for them through the quiet actions that his children will remember and cherish forever.

The Doyle family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone at the Country Center for Health and Rehabilitation.  They went above and beyond in their efforts to make Robert’s last years as pleasant as possible.

Family and friends may call on Thursday January 17, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Friday January 18, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church followed by burial at St. Mary Cemetery, both in Newburyport.
