Norman Beaulieu Obituary

Norman G. Beaulieu, 91, a resident of Beverly and formerly of Lynn died Saturday October 27, 2018 at Beverly Hospital. Norman was born on August 4, 1927 to the late George and Idamay (LeBrasseur) Beaulieu in Livermore Falls, Maine, where he was raised and educated. Following his High School graduation Norman enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served our country proudly until his honorable discharge.

He was employed for several years as an over the road driver for the Daly Drug Company, Norman was then employed by the City of Newburyport as a Custodian until his retirement in 2002. He met his wife Patricia Smith and they were married in 1964. The couple enjoyed 48 years of marriage until her passing in 2012.

Norman enjoyed spending time at Seabrook Dog Track, and health food shopping with his daughter Joleen, going on long rides with his son Wayne, and talking business with his son Dana. In his younger years he enjoyed building model airplanes.

Norman is survived by his children, Joleen Zetes and her husband Peter of Lynn, Wayne Beaulieu of Peabody, and Dana Beaulieu of Groveland; grandchildren, Samantha Zetes, and Kaden Beaulieu; great grandson, Logan; and sisters Jeanette LaPointe and Arline Smith. In addition to his wife Patricia, Norman was predeceased by his brother Robert Beaulieu and sister Anita Strome.

Family and friends may call on Thursday November 8, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Parking available behind the Funeral Home. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Friday November 9, 2018 at St. Mary Church in Georgetown. Burial will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Norman’s name to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
