Nellie Pearl (Fowler) Horr

Nellie Pearl Horr (Fowler), born in Newburyport MA on September 4, 1940 to Frances and Owen Sargent. Nellie passed peacefully in her sleep Friday June 8, 2018 of Natural causes. She was a widow whom lost her husband George O. Horr in July 1978 and never loved another.

Her entire life Nellie was a housewife, cooking, cleaning, and taking care of others is what she did best! She loved playing poker, playing bingo, Pokeno, fill in books, and talking about and visiting Newburyport, MA. Nellie was a strong willed woman who lived life her own way, blazing her own trail, and told you how it was. She feared nothing!

Nellie leaves behind her sister Louise Kirkley and 2 children, Jean Fowler and George Horr all of Haverhill, MA; 6 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held at Belleville Cemetery, Storey Ave. Newburyport, at 11:00 AM on Tuesday June 19, 2018.

In lieu of flowers DONATIONS may be made to the Funeral Home or the Family directly to help with Nellie’s funeral arrangements.
