Morris Wilson Obituary

Morris Wilson, 79, a lifelong resident of Newburyport died Thursday November 9, 2017 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Morris was born in Newburyport on February 8, 1938 to the late Elmer, Sr. and Bertha (LaValley) Wilson. 

He was employed by Port Healthcare Center in Newburyport in their kitchen. He was a very proud past member of the Civil Defense.

Morris is survived by his siblings, Lorraine Batcheller of Newburyport, Shirley Bowes of North Carolina, Joyce Kelleher of Newburyport, and Joan Cargill of Newburyport, nieces and nephews, Lynne Pelletier, Terri Murphy, Paula Daniels, Lisa Woolf, Sherry Keleher, Chris Kelleher, Rick Bowes and John Bowes. He was predeceased by his brothers, Arthur, Charles, Elmer Jr., Norman, and Harold Wilson.

Family and friends may call on Thursday November 16, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Parking available behind the funeral home. His funeral mass will follow the calling hours at 11:00 a.m. and be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, followed by burial at St. Mary Cemetery both in Newburyport.
