Melanie Lee Bennett

Melanie L. Bennett 57 of Salisbury, MA passed away on December 28th, 2018 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

Melanie was born in Lynn MA on April 4th, 1961.  She was raised in Lynn and graduated from Lynn English High School in 1979.  Melanie was the beloved wife of the late Carl W. Hutchinson.

Melanie will be remembered most for her caring spirit and her devotion to her family and friends.  She was gracious and opened her heart and home to everyone that had the fortune to know her.  Melanie was happiest when surrounded by the many people she cared about.

Melanie was an avid Pats fan and loved cheering for her team during the football season. She cherished the summer months by simply soaking in the sun or by bringing her grandchildren camping and fishing. She was the joyful soul that inspirited everyone to laugh, live and to love.

Melanie is survived by her three daughters, Danielle L. Stanley and her husband John of St. Albans, VT, Nicole L. Stanley and her husband Arthur of Salisbury, MA and Ashley L. Turner and her husband Andrew of Tewksbury, MA.; her 10 grandchildren, Levi, Lexi, Laci and Beverly; Artie, Ricky, Sophia and Sylvia; Andrew and Amelia.

Daughter of the late Harry G. Bennett of Nahant, MA and step daughter of the late Donald Reynolds, she is survived by her mother Sylvia Reynolds of Danvers, MA and her sister Dayle Grassia and her four brothers, Daniel, David, Harry and Scott Bennett; her step sisters Deborah Bean, Karen Smith and step brother Donald Reynolds, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Saturday January 5th, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Services and burial will be private.
