Maryanne DelSavio Obituary

How do you find the words to celebrate the life of the best wife and mother in the whole world? She was and is our icon. Ferociously devoted to her family, she was a lover of books, art, film, music, and nature. She could often be found cooking a big pot of soup or petting bumble bees in her beautiful and beloved garden. She found and married her true love of fifty years, Bruce, and had two adoring children, Sara Joy and Jocelyn, whom she claimed as her greatest accomplishments. Through it all, she never lost her sense of humor.  She defied the odds until the end and taught us how to live a life filled with strength, wisdom, wit, and beauty. Thank you for the love and laughter. The conversation will never end.

If you feel so moved, please donate to the Newburyport Public Library (through "The Friends of the Newburyport Public Library" www.newburyportpl.org/get_involved), where she happily worked for many years.
