John Reilly

John Reilly, 75, a lifelong resident of Newburyport died Thursday August 24, 2017 at Anna Jaques Hospital. He was born in Newburyport on October 11, 1941 to the late Francis and Viola (Noyes) Reilly. 

He was employed at Owens Illinois for many years until his retirement. One of John’s passions in life was golf. Upon his retirement he opened and ran JR's 19th Hole at the Oulde Newbury Golf Club. He played at a 6 handicap at many local courses and several all over the country. He also enjoyed his trips to Foxwoods Resort.

John is survived by his wife Lola (Rogers) Reilly of Newburyport, children, Raymond Comei and his wife Gwen of Epping, Terri Henson and her husband Walter of Rochester, and Pamela Cook and her husband Chris of Milford, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, as well as his brother Arthur Reilly and his wife Joyce of Florida and his sister Ruth of California.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday August 30, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Parking available behind the Funeral Home. Services and burial will be private.
