Jennie A. Hebert, 92, died peacefully at her residence in Salisbury on April 24, 2018. She was born, raised and educated in Salisbury/Amesbury. In her younger years Jennie loved to roller skate, ice skate and go to the beach, and is how she met her late husband, Edward Hebert. They married and she accompanied him, a veteran, on various tours of duty overseas. She was employed as a Manager of AAFES for over 20 years. Jennie retired and then continued her travels to many countries, experiencing various different cultures. scenery, and people. Jennie enjoyed arts and crafts, especially drawing and painting and was an avid walker. She would spend countless hours tending her garden/landscape. Nothing gave her more pleasure than being with her family; especially her time spent with her grandchildren aka "the little people".
Jennie is survived by her sister, Pauline, children, Judy and her husband Wayne, Ed and his wife Debbie, grandchildren, Yvonne, Christopher, Bradley, Jessica, and Mike, great grandchildren, Lucas, Abby, Brady, and Colt, nieces and nephews, Linda, Janet, George, and Ray. She was pre deceased by her father Fiodar, mother Ana, and sister, Helen.
Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday May 3, 2018 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Parking available behind the Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Friday May 4, 2018 at the Funeral Home followed by burial at Longhill Cemetery in Salisbury.
