Francis X. Rooney

I am deeply saddened to read of his passing.
I was a student in many of his classes from 1991 to 1995 at Wentworth. Professor Rooney had a profound impact on my life that I reflect upon often. He was an outstanding educator and inspired me to become a teacher like him (although at the time I was a computer science student).
My deepest condolences go to Professor Ascher the rest of his family.
