Donna Bishop Obituary

Donna L. Bishop, better known as "Sister", passed away on Saturday April 20,2019, at home, surrounded by her loving children.

She was born on December 30, 1944 to Ralph Furbush and Abbie "Blaisdell" Furbush.

A Lifelong resident of Salisbury Massachusetts, with many of her years spent at her favorite place, Dock Lane.

She married Wayne Bishop on April 24, 1971. Together they had five children. She was predeceased by her loving husband in 2011; her oldest daughter Jody Lee Bishop in 1973; and her grandson Leon Bishop in 2010.

Sister was happiest when she was with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed being Nana and when her great-grandchildren came along she was promoted to Big Nan.

She was a hard worker and wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty. She was more than willing to engage in playful banter back and forth and always had a quick comeback.

She was survived by her daughter Marilyn Chapman and husband Michael Chapman of Amesbury. Her son Arnold Bishop, Jr. and wife Tara Bishop of Salisbury.

Her daughter Allison Bishop and husband Robert Steinel of Salisbury. Her daughter Virginia Bishop and husband Richard Eaton of Seabrook. Her sister Shirley Merrill of Seabrook. Her brother Donald Furbush of Salisbury. Her sister Carole Stanwood of  Salisbury and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces , nephews and friends
