Carol grew up in Sharon, Connecticut and Camden, South Carolina. After residing in New York City and Sharon for many years, Carol moved to Newburyport, Massachusetts in 1993. Carol lived in many places but she considered Newburyport to be her home and it is where she spent her happiest years. Carol was quick-witted, generous, and kind. She was the best friend that anyone could possibly want and throughout her life, she loved, comforted, and assisted many less fortunate than herself. She was a beautiful writer and a good mother. She was a coffee addict.
