Camilla Glynn Healey, formerly of Swampscott, Massachusetts , died peacefully in Brunswick, Maine on July 14, 2018 from a lung disease. Her sister, Mary Ellen Delaney of Salem, Massachusetts and her five step children, Maura, Terence, Jeremy, Caitlin, and Tara were all at her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 20 years, Jerry Healey, who died in Brunswick, Maine in 2006. She was also the beloved sister of Gregory Glynn of Los Angeles, California. She has 3 step grandchildren, Elsa, Cecelia, and Finn.
Camilla was born in Albany, New York, on June 30, 1944 to the late, James J. and Mary Agnes (Egan) Glynn, both of Albany, New York. Camilla attended the Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York and Albany State College Librarian School. She was the Assistant Library Director at Boston State College and also Salem State University.
Camilla enjoyed hiking, skiing (at Sugarloaf Mountain 40 years), and traveling with her husband.
Family and friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Thursday July 19, 2018 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Parking available behind the Funeral Home. Her Funeral Mass will follow the calling hours at 11:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church followed by burial at St. Mary Cemetery both in Newburyport.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Healey’s name to the Make a Wish Foundation if desired.
