Andrew "Dibba" Dobson

Andrew “Dibba” Dobson, 51, a resident of Salisbury died Sunday October 21, 2018 after being struck by a motor vehicle in Seabrook, NH. He was born on April 22, 1967 in North Andover, MA to Paul and Susan (Shea) Dobson. He was a graduate of North Andover High School, class of 1985 and attended Westfield State University.

Andy was employed by Verizon for many years, during that time he also tended bar at several local bars in Lawrence and Salisbury, including the Calumet and O’Shaffee’s. Andy was a talented artist and following early retirement from Verizon he opened Salt Marsh Framework & Gallery in Salisbury. He enjoyed playing golf, singing Karaoke, and was an avid Patriots fan. Andy will always be remembered as “the life of the party”.

In addition to his parents Andy is survived by his son Liam Miles Dobson and his mother Theresa Heald of Derry, NH; brothers, Sean Dobson and his fiancé Carrie-Ann Cook of Amesbury, Eric Dobson of Walnut Creek, CA; and his niece, Maille Dobson of Salisbury, as well as several cousins and many close friends.

Family and friends may call on Saturday October 27, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Parking available behind the Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will follow the calling hours in the Funeral Home, burial will be private at a later date.
