Stephen Foster Grohe

From Aug.-Oct.'17, through SHS, I got to spend several days a week with Steve. It was great! We shopped, walked in local parks, and had dinner together. I loved talking with him about art and photography, music and aircraft. He had so much insight on these topics. His photography/artwork was nothing short of awesome! Steve was a kind, classy man. So glad for our time together. Laura & Deborah...So sorry for your loss. Rick S.

I worked in a small studio next door to Steve in South Boston about 15 years ago. He was funny, friendly and full of enthusiasm about the guests renting space in his townhouse.

Stephen was a brilliant photographer. Was great working on projects with him as I was called upon to provide the sets for some of his assignments.
My condolences to his daughters and thankful that I was informed of his passing.

Debora, Laura, sorry about the loss of your Dad. He was a nice smart funny man, the world is a smaller place without him. He was a good friend and I always loved making things for him and seeing his ideas materialize into beautiful one of a kind photographs. He made his own world.
