All my love and condolences to the wonderful Twomey family! I really loved uncle Mick! So many great memories I have of him and Gramps, Uncle Buddy..Bob McGlue, just the best guys you could ever want to be around as a kid growing up! Can picture him clearly in the wooden chair by the television at Gramps' when he and aunt Pat would visit, Gramps screaming "high-tide" when he'd jump in the pool. And my personal favorite, when he and gramps went to see Nathan Fuller play football at NHS memorial stadium and some loudmouth fool called him an asshole after Mick told him to quiet down, big Mick turned around and knocked him out with one shot..looks at Gramps..Gramps says,Lets get the hell outaa here. I remember talking and laughing about it the next day at Gramp's house with Bob Page..Bob says, "The lesson there Ryan is to never call your uncle Mick an asshole" :) No worries Bob, the thought would have never occurred to me, he was one of the greatest guys I ever knew, it was an honor to call him Uncle Mick and I'll miss him dearly.

Sometimes you meet someone who leaves a lasting impression on you. That is what happened when I met your Dad. I had the pleasure of waiting on him at the bank and had the nicest conversations with him. This was around the time that your Mom had gone into long term care and it was so clear how much he adored her. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and just wanted you to know that I am one of many who was fortunate to know him if only for a short time. My thoughts are with your family at this difficult times me.
