Dear Annie & Debbie,
We have never met, however, your Mom, Mable, an old friend, had mentioned how much she loved her girls. She beamed with pride when she spoke of you. Mable & I
met in Aspen, CO when she was roommates with Susan Hoban. A couple of us girls stayed at their apartment. We skied, she worked until she got a day off to ski with us.
Oh, how she made us laugh! Those dancing Irish eyes and contagious smile, one could only love Mabel O'Brien. We shared a fondness in our hearts for each other and occasionally kept in touch over the years I lived in Marblehead. It was like no time had ever separated us.
I was very sadden to hear of her sudden moving on to her new life. Please know that this very sad time, with your own private loss, will get better for each of you. You will see your Mom in so many ways. I cherish my memories of her and the good times we had. Mabel was a blessing sent from God to me. Judy Landers

I'm a neighbor at 45 Munroe St. I'm so sorry to hear the news of you mom's passing.
I've lived here 22 years and met your mom back when I baked carrot cakes in the Immaculate C. kitchen as a business, we chatted often. I always looked forward to seeing her to catch up on the neighborhood.
I will keep the fondest of memories of her.
