Hania (Cykler) DeGloria

Hania DeGloria of Newburyport (formerly of Brookline) passed away at home surrounded by family on August 4 after a lengthy illness.  Hania was the beloved wife of Donald DeGloria Sr. with whom she shared over 52 years of marriage.  

Born in Poland to the late George and Helena Cyrkler, she moved to this country as a young girl.  After graduating from Brookline High School, she worked for many years as an executive secretary in the high tech field.

In addition to her husband, Hania is survived by her son Donald DeGloria Jr and his wife Lisa, her grandsons James DeGloria, Kevin DeGloria, and Michael DeGloria, of Newburyport, her brother Victor Cyrkler and his wife Carol of Goshen Indiana, her uncle Zygmunt Kowalski of Bradenton Fla, her sister in law, Cathy Bishop of Manchester NH, her brother in law Robert DeGloria of Manchester NH, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mrs. DeGloria’s family with her funeral arrangements.
